What are the IT skills with an MBA (Finance) graduate should learn before completing MBA?
Hi I'm after II year MBA (Finance) from JNTU Hyderabad, can anybody tell me what are the IT or computer courses to be learned before the completion of MBA.
Mastering MS-Excel would be a start. Excel is a powerful tool for financial managers to analyze the relationship, NPV and IRR calculations, graphs (graphs drawing), etc. There are several websites that give a good insight into the understanding and use of Excel from an FM point of view. Also, if you finally go into the field software, learning the use of ERP such as Oracle Financials, SAP will help. It could have to use the software training institutes in your city. Although this is not necessary, will be a milestone in your resume.
