With the help of Blockbuster Video, it was discovered that was People in their stores, Troy Duffy to obtain funding for re-release the film in 2006. Because word of mouth, Boondock Saints gained many adherents of the religion, which some critics might say is undeserved. With this trend in view of bad luck, especially in the development and production of the film, when Duffy announced a sequel to receive financial support in 2002, many would have reason to be skeptical. The date of 2005 has never been, and Duffy, left clear later in this book because of a dispute with the company controlling the film rights. 20th Century Fox has finally accepted to intervene and return to producing more. Finally, it seems that for now, the problems of Duffy and the team can be more. The film was marked in post-production, Duffy states and possible exit before the end of the year.
