What is a career in finance that is easy to research and discuss?
I'm taking a basic finance class in college as a requirement and I have to give a 2 min PowerPoint presentation about what to do with a degree in finance. Unfortunately, I have little interest in the topic so I to have to do something. What race would be easy to research and talk without containing too complicated, confusing terms and technical jargon?
Commercial banks (Commercial Loan Officers) – Bankers financial analysis of their prospects and customers. They have to determine whether the risk they are taking to provide money to its customers will be adequately compensated in terms of risk, "recovery period" Net Present Value, etc. Securities Analyst / Trader – When the securities of companies for the purchase or sale of the debts of other people, who must determine the net present value (NPV), annuities, etc. I know that you are not interested in Treasury, but the point of Finance (in short) is to find out how much you're willing to pay for a future return. These two runs should be easy to research. Good luck!
