Penny stocks trading day?
I just gave a small amount to play with penny stocks. I know this is a win-or lose all type of agreement, curio so yes, I'm starting small. The thing is I have no idea what kind of research to do for penny stocks. They are so volatile that does not seem to be much more in the way of analysis. Am I wrong? Is it just blind luck throwing a dart at a board stocks the purchase of several thousand shares, then the sale of the second jump?
As a CFA, I would recommend to stay away from penny stocks. Research is difficult to achieve, and tends to be very biased (ie people "pumping" shares held, to later sell them). If there was any "inside" (legal, of course) knowledge, or that the company knew then I could see buying some shares, otherwise, could also play at the casino. Seriously.
